FAMILY LITERACY NETWORK
Thanks for visiting The Family Literacy Network, an Initiative of the National Coalition for African American Progress.

Our site is under development for the inclusion of projects selected for the 2010 Community Change Initiative.

Please visit us next month for the selection of 2010 Partners and to learn more about the Coalition and its Initiatives.

NCAAP was established to help African American communities triumph over poverty, abuse and neglect, achieve self-sufficiency and shape strong futures for themselves, their families and their communities by developing a five-year strategy focused on surfacing leaders and projects that serve as templates for success and intermediaries for funding, technical assistance, and research.

NCAAP's strategy is to meet today's and tomorrow's challenges with a bold new model of community and economic development through a delivery of new opportunities, programs and partnerships that will challenge the African American community to continue its rich heritage of survival and sustainability, traditions of education, leadership, advocacy, and responsibility to conquer the forces that destroy promise, hope and vision.

Watch this site for more information about the 2010 Community Change Initiative and how your organization can become a part of the Family Literacy Network.

The Family Literacy Network offers opportunities and funding for faith-based and community organizations to deliver eligible academic tutoring to children in their congregations and communities.
